Affiliate Link Cloaker Demonstation

After purchasing, downloading and installing the Affiliate Link Cloaker (get it here), you'll find the program incredibly simple to use. But you'll see lots of input fields that may seem confusing.

Not to worry — we're only going to use two of those fields. You can always use all of them if you want to, but it's not necessary to cloak affiliate links.

On the first screen shown below, follow these two simple steps:

1) Input the link you want to hide including the "http://" part of the address in Step 1 input field.

2) Input the name of the page you want to use as the cloaked web page. If you're not sure what that is, go through the demo once and then come back to this. It will make sense after you've seen it.

Ignore Step 3 and the rest of the input fields. Click "Next".

The second screen appears. Set the drop down box set to "Secure" and click "Create Page".

The "Select a folder and filename" save dialog box appears. This should look very familiar — it's a stand Windows save dialog box. Don't change the page name because it should be what you've already input. Make sure you're saving it to web page directory. Click "Save".

The confirmation box appears showing you where the page has been saved. Click "Ok". Notice on this screen a button in the lower right called "Upload". If you configure Affiliate Link Cloaker to act as a FTP device, you can upload your page directly to your web host. I personally don't bother with it. I have an FTP software I use already. You probably do too. I fire it up and load that page to the web host.

Since I've demonstrated this with a dummy ClickBank Affiliate ID (BigTest), the link http://www.Bad-Dad.com/Bad-Dad-Test.html displays the Bad Dad: 10 Keys to Regaining Trust sales page, but there is no affiliate associated with it.

But, of course, I do have a real link using my real Affiliate ID that shows how it works. Try this: http://www.Bad-Dad.com/aff-BadDad.htm

Affiliate Link Cloaker hides all affililate links — not just ClickBank — if you follow the instructions I've provided on this page.

<- "TECH" NOTE On CLICKBANK ->

It's estimated there are over 100,000 active affiliate programs out on the net.

Some affiliate programs, like ClickBank, will occasionally change the mechanics of their systems.

Right now ClickBank will throw off the cloaked link once the surfer get to the affiliate's website, but by then your cookie and other tracking mechanisms are already set... so you're protected!

The important thing to remember is that you are most vulnerable to link hijacking and bypassing BEFORE the prospect clicks your affiliate link... and that's exactly what Affiliate Link Cloaker protects you against!
